SUSPECT TRIED TO RAM WHITE HOUSE GATE

BRAD MERRIMAN – JOURNALIST – TACD NEWS – The White House today, at approximately 2:08pm eastern time, reported shots were fired.  The shots were apparently as a result of a short car chase.   Reports are emerging that state  a female driver attempted to ram a gate at a checkpoint near 15th and E St. nearest the Treasury side of Capitol Hill.  The Capitol Police gave chase, the driver fled past the Capitol Building where the exchange of gun fire took place.  One Capitol Police officer was air lifted for undisclosed injuries, in a park police helicopter.

The all clear has been given to the occupants inside the White House around 2:45 pm Eastern time.
