BRAD MERRIMAN – JOURNALIST/TACD NEWS – After a 3 week trial that saw Nidal Hasan act as his own attorney, the military trial of the accused fort hood shooter has now been sent to the jury for deliberation. Hasan stands charged with murdering 13 of his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood in 2009. it has been long suspected that this was an act or terrorism, as Hasan has been tied to Al Quada factions. Al Quada has labeled Hasan ‘a terrorism star’ for his attack on American soldiers.
Hasan acted as his own attorney throughout the trial, cross examining soldiers he had allegedly shot, and those who witnessed these acts. Hasan however rested his case without calling a single witness in his defense.
