BREAKING NEWS: SCHOOL SHOOTING IN GEORGIA!

BRAD MERRIMAN – PRESIDENT – TACD MEDIA LLC – In Decatur,  Georgia this afternoon there was a report of shots fired on the campus of the Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy.  Apparently no school children were harmed.  Police officials report a gunman fired an assault rifle from inside the school that houses kindergarten to 5th grade students.  The 19 year old suspect was taken into custody after a short gun battle with police.

The teen had several weapons and apparently was able to sneak on campus behind someone cleared to be there, as the school has secured doors and the school can only be entered by being ‘buzzed’ in. The gunman took hostages briefly in the school office where a school secretary was instructed to call police, and a local radio station as well.  As the radio anchor had the woman on the phone, she heard the gunshots in the background.

No official charges have been filed yet.

  1. Further proof, imo, that all school staff should be armed with loaded handguns at all times.
