Brad Merriman – President – TACD Media LLC – Son of human rights Heavyweight Jesse Jackson, Jesse Jackson Jr. received a 30 month sentence in federal prison for his misuse of $750,000 in campaign funds.  In February, Jackson Jr. pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and mail fraud.  Jackson Jr’s. Wife Sandi received a 1 year sentence for her role in the misuse of funds, she had also pleaded guilty to filing false tax returns.  The Jackson’s spent their money on a lavish lifestyle, including a lengthy collection of Michael Jackson memorabilia.  Jackson lawyers are requesting probation for Mrs. Jackson so she may care for the couple’s children ages 9 and 13 years old.  Prosecutors, keeping the children in mind, have suggested consecutive terms of prison sentences so one parent will be able to be home with the children.   Jackson Sr. outside the courtroom told reporters he ‘didn’t know how he missed the signs.’
