The Liberal Complaint

What would you have done differently the night of the Benghazi attack?  The Obama administration knew about the protest earlier in the day at the embassy in Cairo over the anti Muslim video, that is the common sense reason why they figured this was the same.  They had CIA and the February militia as extra security(even thought the militia are the ones who left the pedestrian gate open so the attack could happen).  Would you have them send troops? On the ground?  Possibly to be ambushed?  How about parachute some in?  They would make great target practice for those on the ground.  Air strikes?  Great idea, do you seriously think these terrorists were not ready with some RPGS? They would probably have been shot out of the sky, and what would they bomb?  You cant just willy nilly drop bombs on nations like that without precision and timing.  Our government really had no idea what the gravity of the situation was, due to the fact that the only advisory they received that entire day was from Ambassador Stevens saying that a Benghazi police officer was surveying the consulate and making them uncomfortable, of course that email was routine and not even marked urgent, so it went into Clinton’s thousand emails a day box.  It is troubling, but there is nothing that night that could have been done to save those people.
