Brad Merrman – President – TACD Media LLC – A jury this morning found mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger guilty on 31 of 32 counts against him ranging from murder to racketeering. Bulger was accused of being involved in 19 murders, but the jury did not feel the burden of proof was met in 7 of those. The jury had no verdict for the count of murder against Bulger in the case of Buddy Leonard which enraged his daughter, who stormed out of the courtroom. Debra Davis’s brother was in attendance was well when the jury felt there was not enough evidence to convict Bulger in her death, one of the two female murders Bulger stood accused. Sentencing is set for November 13. At age 83 it is very possible Bulger will spend the remainder of his life in jail.
