Celebrities Who Support Gun Rights

I know there are a lot of debates about gun control. I’m a Midwestern gal, living in a small town, where my family all go hunting. I personally don’t like guns so I don’t mess with them. Why mess with something that can get you killed if you don’t know what you’re doing? I have never shot or handled a gun. They make me very nervous. But…..I think when a person is trained right, then guns should not be a problem. I think Americans have the right to bear guns. Our forefathers gave us that right and no one should be allowed to take that right away. I was reading about some celebrities that support these rights. I’m going to name a few and why they feel like they do.

Clint Eastwood….”I have a very strict gun control policy. If there’s a gun around, I want to be in control of it”. Clint Eastwood has made a fortune on his movies where I would say he uses a gun in 99% off them.

Chuck Norris….”If thugs break into my home, I can use my roundhouse kick. But I prefer he look down the barrel of my gun.”

Jeff Foxworthy….”We’re a heart attack away from losing the right to bear arms.”

Johnny Depp…. “When I was a kid, it was a controlled atmosphere. We weren’t shooting at humans; we were shooting mostly at cans and bottles.

I will most certainly take my kids out for target practice.”

Brad Pitt….”America is a country founded on guns. It’s in our DNA. I feel better having a gun. I really do.”

Angelina Jolie…. “If anyone comes into my home and tries to hurt my kids, I’ve no problem shooting them”.

Bruce Willis, Ice-T, and rapper Big Boy Outkast all agree everyone has the right to bear arms.

James Earl Jones…” Because criminals carry guns, we decent law-abiding citizens should also carry guns. Otherwise they will win and the decent people will lose.”

Dalai Lama….”If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun”. He does suggest shooting not to kill but to disarm.

Martin Luther King also believed in the rights to bear arms. Tragically he died at the hands of an assassin.

Last on my list, but not least, is Charlton Heston….One time president of the NRA, his famous quote is they will take his gun only, “from my cold dead hands”…..

Guns are dangerous. We all agree on that. But, if someone is threatening me or my family, you can believe I will protect them till my dying breath. It wouldn’t take my husband long to take me out and show me how to use his gun. But, that is the only reason I would ever touch a gun. Hopefully American can keep the 2nd amendment. We have every right to bear arms and it is our constitutional right.
